Cryptic Prayer

What can you say to a wall?
Not much, I guess.
What can you do when there is so much left to do but nothing left to accomplish?
Wait.
Who do you talk to when the one person you need to hear is no longer present?
Wait.
Why do some people believe they are always right?
Because that’s their ‘truth’.
When will people realize that life is a journey with happy endings, awkward beginnings AND unhappy endings?
Never.
When will the telling of one-sided fairy tales stop?
Ask Walt Disney.
When will you get off of that cross? [someone else needs the wood]
*no answer*
Where are the answers?
But more importantly where were the questions that should have been asked?
Never sent.
Ask and you shall receive.
Unless you aren’t prepared for the answers.
If you don’t have the intestinal fortitude to ask,  zipper that talkbox shut.
(say that 3X real fast) [LOL]
Amen, my brothers and sisters, amen . . .

As always, a compliment from a teacher makes my day.
I needed more of those 40 years ago!
Nice to see you, Ang . . .

I don’t know about you, but if ever I’m asked a question I answer it, regardless of how unpalatable the subject is.
However, as you say, it’s difficult to answer that which has never been asked.
Maybe rather than ask, it’s easier to make assumptions though.
    Well done GB
    :sly:

I have known this about you since when we first met.
You never have been one to mince words.
    Assumptions?
As long as they’re convenient and serve the person using them, methinks.

I talk to walls with a sledge hammer. It works well.
I am always right when Moe says so!
this is a truly inspirational post. So much so it has made the burn master want to do a cryptic post as well. Scared? most people will be.
    Well done brother. :?:

    Write away, my brother.
I would love to see a ‘Burnie’ spin on this one (brown spot and all!)

I talk to walls all the time. Unlike most people, they don’t judge or interrupt and they don’t offer unwanted advice. They just listen.

Oh, PT if only you knew the origins of this post!
This particular wall did judge and offer opinions that will never be justified.
I walked away and one day the wall began talking.
    Never a good thing for a wall . . .
    Thanks for the comment.
