98% of people say ‘Oh Shit!’ before going in the ditch on a slippery road.
The other 2% are from Massachusetts and they say,
‘Hold my beer and watch this!’

*I usually say,
“Put on your seatbelt. I’m going to try something.
I’ve only seen it done in a cartoon but I think I can do it.”

Happy Thanksgiving, folks!
I will be off and on with the blog for the next few days as I prepare Thursday’s feast.
Roast turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, cranberry sauce, sweet potato casserole and on and on.
Be safe, be well, be happy and be full . . .

Count me in as one of the 98% – only I tend to see how many times I can say it before I hit it.

Kinda like an “Oh Shit” machine gun…
Or more appropriate – verbal diarrhea.

I’ve done the “Oh Shit” machine gun many times.
I’ll have to post my ordeal on Route 128 (many Winters ago) outside of Boston.
Four lane road, van with shitty tires, on the way to a gig.
Snowy + bad tires = 360 on a very busy road.
    Machine gun? Hells Yeah!

My husband grew up in the mountains, driving on ice and snow. He loves to scare the shit out of me!

    Wear the brown pants, Lolly.

Here in Colorado, it’s likely to be “OH SHIiiii……

    Owwww . . . .
But what a ride, eh?
People pay good money for that kinda thing . . . .

When I first read the title of this post and saw the snow , I said “Oh Shit” ! snow already? Crap!
I thought that I had missed the weather forecast.

    So far we’ve been lucky.
Cross your fingers, my little turtledove . . .

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours ~m. I hope your day is fabulous, and full of love, family and good food.
Seems strange to hear you speaking of snow when we’re sitting here sweltering in temps that have yet to hit their summer peak because summer hasn’t started.
The time, no problem, but the seasons do my head in….

I am just starting to get the hang of knowing exactly what day and time it is in Australia.
    The seasons? Haven’t gone there yet . . .
The day was wonderful. Too full, though

Here in oz land we put our hands in the air and yell “LOOK MUM, NO HANDS!!!”

Hope dinner was nice, although you better have saved me some of that mashed potato and gravy…that stuff is one of the five basic food groups, right along side coffee :)

Miss ya, hope to be around a little more..the rollercoaster that is my life is finally starting to slow down a little I think!

    Much luv,
    Kell and Zoe
