I listened to this on my Nano tonight and could only think of my Mom.
I’m but a breath away from where she is . . .
She loved music.
Good music.
Sweet music.
She would have loved Groban’s voice
The man playing piano is David Foster . . . another God, of sorts, for me personally
Enjoy

A smell, a sound, a song. Any and all of these things trigger a longing that never seems to fade or diminish in any way, don’t they?
She can hear your music ~m, and she’s smiling when she does.
There is a sweet place between sleep and awake.
That’s where they wait for us, always ready with a mothers hug, or one of those soft butterfly kisses to soothe us.
Sometimes I find it and others I don’t, but it’s worth waiting for
    {{{hugs}}} for you

between ‘sleep and awake’ is a very sweet place of possibility.
Love the way you phrased that.
    Tanks, kiddo.
And yeah, Mom does hear me play.
    I’ve always believed that anyway . . .

How beautiful! I had never heard that before, but I do love Josh’s voice. As I sit, crying, I thought of my good friend, Barbara, who passed away a year ago. After reading anonymums comment (so beautiful), it’s hard to say the ‘right’ thing. I believe when you play the piano, your Mom’s fingers are on the keys with you….knowing you are in this together, Mother and Son….forever! The music lives on…..FOREVER!

File this under ‘comments that made me teary’
    Thanks so much, Lynn.
You are a special one, kiddo.
