What a great friend Mark is! It’s so touching…..now you have the real deal!!! I have a feeling you’ll have that hat forever! My friend Kacie, was in Australia for the month of July and had the best time. She’s a teacher who is in her 20’s and each summer she travels…..she has her own bucket list. This year it was Australia and teaching in China. She’s on her way home now! She sent incredible pictures. She spent a week on a catamaran on the Great Barrier reef. Cool, eh? Enjoy your Akubra!

Moe and Mark live @2 hours from the GBR.
They’re in tropical Queensland.

The hat was never coming back to Australia ~m, that was decided the day we bought it.
After we walked out of the shop I said to Mark, “You’re going to leave it with Michael if it fits aren’t you?”
All he did was smile.
You were meant to have it, otherwise it would never have fitted now would it?
You do know that everyone except you, knew you were getting it, right????

Why can I totally see Mark smiling like a Cheshire cat? ;)
I was clueless regarding the hat.
I knew it looked like a very impressive fez and I never thought in a million years
that he would part with it.
I am honored and humbled that he thought enough of me to do that quite honestly.
For Cripes sake, even Kelly knew!
You are going to take me to that shop someday right?

I love that leather shop as well but I knew about the Akubra so of course you were not going to buy one.
Besides, you don’t buy one of those in the USA.
They’re not real. (don’t you know anything?)
You can only acquire one from an Aussie, then you know it’s the real deal.
Only then are you allowed to wear it.
You guys look so small in that chair and you look quite mischievous too.

Mark and I are naughty elves to be sure.
As far as the Akubra goes, you are naughty as well (in a good way) You knew.
As far as the pic goes . . .
That Chair was huge! I pulled a groin muscle getting up there.
And Mischievous?
Hellsyeah!
