I’m feeling my 50 years these days a bit more than I’d like with a painful bout of bursitis in my left knee.
I can’t seem to get the inflammation under control just yet.
Patience.
And Advil.
And some Vicodin.
And repeat.
I have some amazing and wonderful things to tell you but it’s going to
have to wait until I can sit for more than ten minutes without looking like a fat dog shitting razor blades.
Off to fill the ice bag . . . again.

don’t know if bursitis can be managed with arthroscopic surgery, but i just had roto-rooter on my right knee (skiing injury) and after 24 hours? it feels a bazillion times better. hope there’s some relief in your future… sounds awful…
Who are you House? Vicodin!!!
Here’s a tip you will love me forever for …celadrin. Check celadrin.com then go get yourself a tube or a bottle of capsules. It really works – permanently.

A fat dog shitting razor blades? What a visual……OUCH!!!
Feel better soon!
I feel for you, I do, but I really must admire your ability to create a visual that whilst not nice, still made me come close to wetting myself laughing!

Sorry ~m, I’ll go home now…but I’m still giggling mind you!!
Great way of making us suffer too: ‘have some amazing things to tell you BUT………”
Gosh, at least you have drugs in the house. Not like me who now has to go through murphy-cravings cold turkey.
Hope you feel better soon.
PS. Me has been hugging toilet all day, that ain’t too cool either.
shitting razor blades, eh? do we get a picture at least?!!
ice for the knee and maker’s mahk for the lips, michael .. it’ll work. i hope you’re well, soon !
Pain free positive vibes from Africa xxx
Spray a little WD-40 on it, old timer.
Of the non-Rx meds I tried when I had bursitis in my shoulder, Aleve worked the best (was the doctor’s recommendation). However, there were no razor blades involved and it was a non-weight-bearing joint on my left side, so I’ll just shut up.
(I keep wanting to say something about the Old Man in the pic having fallen apart a few years ago, but that would be mean, wouldn’t it?)
Much sympathy. Get well soon.
