CFL

And no, it’s not the Canadian Football League.
Watch the video for more info.
Though he’d never make it as a stand-up comedian, I’m liking this congressman from Texas.

Bravo! For what it’s worth, there’s a much cleaner solution – solid state white lighting (Light Emitting Diodes, LEDs). Yep. US technology, mfg overseas, but it won’t kill your damn dog…

    Amen, Daisy.

Leave it to a good ol’ boy to make some sense.

    Gotta love it.
    This guy is awesome.
Glad he got some quality time on the floor.
I wonder how many people actually listened?

  3. That was an eye opening video that I plan on bringing to the attention of everyone I know. I had no idea. I thought those light bulbs were a pretty cool idea, little did I know.

I love when people see something and learn something here.
    I did as well.
    Thanks for the visit, PP
Love your blog, dude (even if you love John Freakin’ Denver)

    Yo Michael:

    Those bulbs bite!

When I was living in NJ there was a big push–replete with state rebates–to try them out.

The light is so funky I ended up using them only in the garage.

If this law stands buy stock in U.S. lightbulb makers around 2012 cuz there will be massive hoarding of good old fashioned light bulbs.

    Dig it!

    All Best,

    Jojo

Hoarding? Damn dude, I got cases of the suckers.
    Damn, I’m gonna be rich . . .
    Yeah, right
