Smoke and Mirrors

In a perfect world . . .

I’m still trying to figure out this new digital camera.
I think the jpegs take up too much memory and I need to figure out how to compress them down to a workable and downloadable size.
If anyone knows about the finer details of digital photography, email me.
I’m all ears.
I’ll leave you with several new pics.
Look for more once I figure out just what the hell is going on.
Maybe I need to look into Flickr…

Here’s a good shot of the little guy’s belly.
Bengals generally have spotted bellies.

A good shot of his marbled coat.

He also likes to stand and look out the window.

  1. Oh, what a cute kitty! 😀

How many cats do you have, Michael?

Three cats; Sherlock, Opus and Guinness.
Sherlock is a quintessential grey-haired tabby, Opus is a fluffy, smoke colored short tail and Guinness, the bengal.
    Too many, huh? 😉

  2. Frickin’ cute cat, m!

TOTALLY diggin the new site look. Muy bueno, mi amigo.

    Thanks, MS.
I’ll be by over the next few days for a long overdue visit.

  3. just as well we’re not closer you know or you might just be a cat short!! 😉
    he’s beautiful!

    Thanks, Mum.
    He is pretty cool.
    Look for more pics.
Actually, my Flickr page is working again.
I’ll be uploading stuff there. Seems easier.

  4. I would very much like a cat as this one. what a great looking cat.
I may have to get used to the looks of the blog, wow what a color suddenly. what is the theme called anyway, it does not say that anywhere does it?

If you Google ‘Bengal cat’ you will come up with a bevy of sites.
I posted the Guinness story a few months ago.
He is the direct result of a StumbleUpon hit by my wife.
    Kind of funny.
I’ve always loved red/black in themes I’ve seen in Blogland. WP never had one. Until now.
This one definitely caught my eye.
It’s called Neo-Sapien and yes, it’s on your presentation page.
I did the header myself with Corel Paint Shop Pro 9.
I fiddled with an image I liked using Google.

  5. indeed i had a look through your album….nice hat mikey 😉

    I’ll be adding pictures daily.
    Check back.

  6. He is adorable. Wonderful pictures!

Tanks. It you were to see him, he is more than adorable.
    Get a Bengal! {if you like cats, that is}

  7. Oh, no, I don’t think you have too many cats, because I have five. 😛

    You are one sick woman.
    A bit cool, too.
Someone once said, “If you can count your cats, you don’t have enough.”
    Must have been Ernest Hemingway {52 cats}

  8. Second shot of cute cats that I’ve seen today! Tyger, tyger burning bright!

    He rocks!

  9. He’s just so adorable! As for the camera, your best bet would be to get a big memory stick/card if it takes one. I have a 1gb one and on highest quality settings I can get nearly 400 photos on there….if it doesn’t then call WC!!

  10. OMG! He’s just gorgeous!!!! And he’s apparently quite animated. My tiggy is crashed on a chair near me with his head propped up on the back of the chair. Tiger’s have a special place in my heart!

    The new place looks great!!!

    Thanks, Carn.
Animated? Huh, you should see him at 5:30 in the morning.
He’s like a Mexican Jumping Bean.
Glad you like the new look.
I think it’s kinda cool too.
